The Replica Family couch gag is the third couch gag of Season 5 and is the first recurring couch gag in Season 5.
Plot
The Simpsons run in and find an identical Simpsons family on the couch. Both families stare at each other in confusion. (This scene is frequently used as the opening couch gag on syndicated versions of Simpsons episodes from Seasons 1 to 5, and is also used to replace the Circus Line couch gag on some episodes. The couch gag is not seen on FXX reruns of Season 1-5 episodes of the show)
