Ed Begley, Jr. is an actor who attended Trent Steele's party and ultimately helped him attempt to save Springfield's redwood trees. He also designed a rather weak solar panel that just barely produced enough energy to make a pinwheel turn. He had little patience for Max Power's cowardice and lack of interest in the environment.
