Ex-Con Home Security is a company which claims to provide protection for living quarters. Its motto is "From the Big House... To Your House." Contrary to the name implying that the owner is reformed, he appears to have maintained his conning ways from his days as a criminal, as when the Simpson family calls the company for help, he robs objects from them and offers them shady, dangerous "solutions." Though not recognizing the obvious scams the company offers, Homer refuses to pay the proposed $500 price.
