Ferdinand Gurney (January 2, 1874 - January 1, 1955) was the husband of Alvarine Bisque, the father of Jacqueline, Gladys, and possibly Lou and Edith, the father-in-law of Clancy Bouvier, and the maternal grandfather of Selma Bouvier, Patty Bouvier, Marge Simpson, Arthur, and possibly Hortense.

He is also the posthumous maternal great-grandfather of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson, the adoptive maternal great-grandfather of Ling Bouvier, and the posthumous grandfather-in-law of Homer Simpson on his mother-in-law's side.
