Ferdinand Juan Gurney was the husband of Alvarine Gurney, father of Gladys Gurney, Lou Gurney and Jacqueline and maternal grandfather of Selma, Patty and Marge Bouvier. He is also the maternal great-grandfather of Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson and Homer Simpson's grandfather-in-law.
