Ferdinand Juan Gurney (November 10th, 1898 - December 19th, 1980) also known as Grandpa Gurney or Mr. Gurney was the husband of Alvarine Gurney, the father of Gladys Gurney, Lou Gurney and Jacqueline, the father-in-law of Clancy Bouvier, and the maternal grandfather of Selma, Patty and Marge Bouvier. He is also the maternal great-grandfather of Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson and Homer Simpson's grandfather-in-law. He was also the son of Thomas and Ingrid Gurney. A younger picture of him can be seen during Gladyses Will video along with his wife Alvarine Bisque. He died at the age of 82 months after the birth of his great-grandson Bart.
