The 33 cents store is a retail discount store that sells everything for 33 cents.
The store sells mainly discontinued, factory second, and recalled products, and a truck is shown dumping a load of merchandise through an opening in the store's roof.
After Snake drains the Simpsons' savings account at the Java Server, the Simpsons save for a family vacation by shopping at this store, after deciding the 99 Cents Store and 66 Cents Store are too expensive. Homer eats long-expired can of Mexican plankton for sale and ends up getting Red Tide poisoning.
Products for sale include Cool Ranch Soda, cans of krill, cans of plankton from Mexico, Skittlebrau, "That 70's Show" mugs, onions and Marge's green dress (with an alternative blue version of the dress also on the rack).
