Fireman 1 is one of the two firemen who were attempting to catch the Simpson family on their couch. The first fireman is holding the left side of the couch.
History[]
The first fireman and the second fireman hold the couch like a safety net. Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie land safely on the couch. Homer, however, falls screaming through the floor.[1]
