History[]
Homer becomes aware of the business after mistakenly received a piece of Ned's mail. Ned explains to Homer that he and Maude started the company to sell religious hook-rugs online.
Hearing of the Internet for the first time, Homer is inspired to set up his own business, Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net, which Microsoft CEO Bill Gates later visits and chooses to "buy out" by destroying Homer's home office.
