Trivia[]

  • This is the first and only episode so far that Bart does not appear and is not mentioned (not counting the opening sequence). However, he is seen in a picture in Marge's room.
  • This is one of the few episodes in the show's history where Maggie has spoken and where she has done so directly.
  • Queen Elizabeth I was not a twin so in the segment where Selma portrays her, Patty is unseen and unmentioned.
  • The establishing shot of a castle captioned "Meanwhile in Spain" is the real-life Alcázar of Segovia, the same medieval castle used as the model for the castle in Disney's 1937 animated movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
  • The music playing during Maggie's story is the Second Movement of Beethoven's ninth Symphony.
  • The picture that Maggie draws on the wall in the final scene is Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night".
  • In the Fountainhead parody, Ellsworth Toohey (a character from the book and movie) appears as himself, with no attempt to caricature him as a regular Simpsons character.
  • This episode, alongside "Simpsons Bible Stories", "The Fight Before Christmas", and "22 Short Films About Springfield" are the only anthology episodes that contain more than three stories. Marge even notices that she told three stories, and mentions that they always tell three.
  • The episode's title is a parody of Three Men and a Baby.
  • This episode was initially rated TV-14 (mostly for the drug references in the "Snow White" spoof and the violence and suicide scenes in the MacBeth spoof) on FOX. On Disney+ and in cable reruns, this episode is rated TV-PG (which is the average content rating for Simpsons episodes)
  • When Lisa is about to mention the seven dwarves, Blue Haired Lawyer appears and says that it’s copyrighted to Disney, who would later own Disney in 2019.

Differences from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs[]

It’s very likely the way the story was told it was parodied after the 1937 Disney film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. However Lisa said it was from the fairytale. Here are the differences.

  • In the movie Doc is the leader of the Dwarfs. However in this version Doctor Hibbert is in back and Crabby/Moe is the leader.
  • In the movie and original, the object that tells the Queen who’s the most beautiful is a mirror. But this object is an HD-TV.
  • One of the biggest differences is Snow White's appearance. In the movie she’s 14-years-old and a princess by birth. She has black hair with a red hairbow and is wearing a yellow and blue dress. But this version has her as a peasant and not the Queen’s stepdaughter. She’s also about 12-years-old and is very different from the movie.
  • In the movie and original, the person hired to get Snow White's heart gives the heart of a pig. But in this version the Queen wants her heart in one box and her body in another. Also, she isn’t given the heart of anything. It’s unknown what happened to Huntsman Willie.

Goofs[]

  • Marge complained that Homer killed everyone in their costumes, however Doctor Hibbert was not.
    • She could've meant except for him or didn't know this fact.
