
Fox News is an American commercial cable TV news channel owned by the Fox Corporation. Fox News is separate from the Fox television stations, which have their own local news, and are not affiliated with Fox News.

Their truck went past 742 Evergreen Terrace to do a news reportage about Mayor Quimby's sexual scandals. While the truck was passing, the music "We Are the Champions" was played.
Tucker Carlson was a host on Fox News. During the song and dance performance of "Goodbye, Middle Class", Lisa Simpson asked where the elderly voters were getting their cues. Tucker then appeared on a giant TV screen endorsing Vladimir Putin for US president.[1]

Fox News is a real news channel owned by the Fox Corporation since 2019. Before then, it and The Simpsons shared the same corporate owners. Some people have criticized it saying that it is unintellectual and often has right wing bias, which many of the jokes in The Simpsons stem from.
In the real world, Tucker Carlson was a prime time Fox News host at the time the episode "Poorhouse Rock" first aired in May 2022. He was fired from his job in April 2023, 11 months afterwards.[2]
