Frederick Charles "Fred" Willard (born September 18, 1933-May 15, 2020) was an American actor known for voicing Baruti in the 2001 Disney TV show The Legend of Tarzan, along with his other roles in the Rob Reiner mockumentary film This Is Spinal Tap, the Christopher Guest mockumentary films, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration, and Mascots, and the Anchorman films, and for his recurring role as Phil Dunphy's father, Frank, on the ABC sitcom, Modern Family. On The Simpsons, he guest starred as Wally Kogen in "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday". He also portrayed the CEO Of Buy-N-Large Shelby Forthright in the 2008 Pixar film WALL•E.
