~ Fruit Bat Man's catchphrase |
Fruit Bat Man is the superhero alter ego of Charles Montgomery Burns. He has a sidekick named Kid Sourpuss.
History[]
After buying every comic book in The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop and reading them, Mr. Burns decided to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a superhero. Waylon Smithers thought it was just a phase and went along with him. However, Fruit Bat Man decided to solve a real crime in Kwik-E-Mart. Smithers got there before him and paid Snake and Apu to let Fruit Bat Man stop a holdup.
After this "success", Fruit Bat Man stopped several "villains", including Homer, Lenny, Carl, Crazy Cat Lady, Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Mel, who all were paid by Smithers. Eventually when Lisa asked him for a help in stopping Groundskeeper Willie, who was framing Bart for a prank, Smithers told him that all the crimes he stopped were fakes, save for one. Fruit Bat Man then caught Willie and brought him to justice.
One time in "Waiting for Duffman", Season 26 he wanted to team up with Homer Simpson (as Duffman)
After Fruit Bat Man had been captured by The Abominable Dr. Lenny, he called to Nick Fury who then brought together The Dependables, a team of elderly superheroes, whom Fruit Bat Man was a member of.
