Gabriella "Gabby" Simpson (née Crouse) is an ancestor of the Simpson family. She married Howland Simpson and had five children: "Old Tut" Simpson, Lou Simpson, Hugo Simpson, Dulcine Simpson and Gaston Simpson. A family tree showing Gabby's known lineage can be seen here, she is the Great-Great Grandmother of Homer (Kinda).
She helped her husband make a subsitute for Holy Water, until they ended up making a sex tonic instead.
Behind the Laughter[]
Despite being the Great-Great Grandmother to Homer, in the show in the Little Big Girl, Homer states that his great-great grandmother was Winifred Running Simpson, even though she is placed as his great-great-great-great grandmother in the family tree, so its also possible Winifred was the wife of Abraham/Howland Simpson, not Gabby.
