Gaylord Stemple was the son of Zephediah Stemple and Hortensia Stemple. His siblings were named Clarice, Zachariah (his evil twin) and Minnie. He married Trixie Simpson and they had three children named Paco Stemple, Caleb Stemple and Vic Stemple. He is Homer's great-great-great-granduncle-in-law, and Mr. Burns's great-great-granduncle.

Trivia

• Because of Gaylord's marriage to Trixie, the Simpsons and the Burnses are related in a distant manner. Specifically, Mr. Burns' great-great-grandmother Clarice DuBois was Gaylord's sister and Trixie was the sister of Homer's great-great-great-grandfather Garwood Simpson.
