Golf is a sport played a lot in Springfield. Bart and Todd Flanders both like playing mini golf and have entered tournaments at Sir Putt-A-Lot's Merrie Olde Fun Centre. Full-scale golf is also played, for example by Mr. Burns at Springfield Glen Country Club. Mr. Burns is also not a good golfer because Smithers always cheated for him; consequently, Homer beat him due to this being discovered Mr. Burns being disqualified. A golf game is included on Zii Sports. Another golf video game is Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge that Bart got for Christmas.
Bart once made money collecting lost golf balls from the golf course, and also found a cellphone there.
Marge also once made Homer take up golf because he was spending to much time around the house.
