Goliath is a Biblical figure and a giant. Within The Simpsons, the particular iteration of Goliath that appears is actually Goliath II, with David having already defeated the original Goliath. Goliath II killed David's oldest friend Methuselah, and David elects to get revenge on Goliath. He is initially overpowered, with Goliath hurdling David through the air in a slingshot and pounding his head on the ground, among other acts of violence. Eventually he manages to drive Goliath off of a tower, which does not significantly hurt him; however, Ralph threw his own tombstone at him, defeating him. However, the townspeople reveal that Goliath was a great, productive leader and that David was now the enemy of the town.
He is portrayed in the form of Nelson Muntz.
