Gottfrid is a producer who formerly lived in Sweden.

History

At some point in his life, he moved to Springfield and became a movie producer. He believes that all movies should be free to see, so he is fine with Homer pirating a movie (although if in Sweden it is legal to pirate a movie (at least according to him) but, not in the USA and Homer isn't Swedish but American he should be arrested for piracy). When the F.B.I. found them, he liked the rock music that the F.B.I. used, because it reminded him of death. It is unknown why he likes death though. The song was about respecting the copyright law (because Homer was disrespecting it) and the purpose of it was to force Homer to get out of the building and get arrested. At first Homer didn't want to go but after Marge admitted that it was her who snitched Homer he decided to give up to them.
