According to him, the government has access to the DNA of anyone who has ever handled a penny, explaining why they are still produced despite being nearly worthless due to inflation. When Mr. Burns was shot by an unknown assailant, Chief Wiggum asked him to perform a DNA test on an eyelash found on the suit Burns was wearing. He initially claimed the test would take eight to ten weeks, but when Wiggum bribed him with cigarettes he finished the test immediately. He revealed that the DNA on the eyelash belonged to the Simpson family.
