The AI self-destructed when it was told to create 800 more episodes, as the series could not end with the finale that was created.

Hack-GPT is a parody of the generative AI chatbot known as ChatGPT. Its name could also be a reference to the term "hack writer", which is an author that writes low-quality, rushed articles that will catch attention. The AI can be considered a hack writer as it quickly created a cheesy episode with all of the beats of a stereotypical series finale.
