Hanna-Barbera was a popular animation company (which is now a brand by Turner Broadcasting Company) that started in the late 1950s. It is most know for its wide variety of cartoon shows, including Scooby-Doo and Yogi Bear. Their wide library of sound effects is still used in many shows today. (The Simpsons has often used Hanna-Barbera's "bite" sound effect for whenever an animal bites someone or something.)
