Headmaster Greystash is a deceased headmaster in the Angelica Button series by T. R. Francis.

History[]
Greystash's defining feature is his impressive mustache, several feet long on each end and endowed with special powers.
Homer reads the book to Lisa in a plea to get her to sleep so that he can have snuggle time with Marge, but eventually gets hooked on the story and decides to read ahead against Lisa's wishes. When Homer reads ahead, he finds out that Greystache decides to sacrifice himself to defeat the evil Malicious Krubb and save Angelica. Homer is mortified by the ending and cries about it at Moe's Tavern. When it comes time to read the final chapter to Lisa, he decides to lie as to not put her through the same misery he went through. He makes up a happier ending, though incompetently. In this new ending, Greystash says "mustache powers activate", granting his mustache powerful muscles. The evil wizard is clobbered into submission before being stuffed into a conjured mailbox, before getting fed to a dragon with a jail cell for a stomach and Greystash saves the day. Lisa is skeptical that that's how the book ends, but Homer reassures her that he is telling the truth and puts her to bed, happily knowing that now Lisa won't know about death until it happens to someone close to her. However, Lisa kept another copy of the book under her pillow and read the real ending but decided Homer's ending was better.
Maggie once dressed a costume of him.
Behind the laughter[]
- Greystash is a parody of Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter book series.
- Headmaster Greystash is much like Albus Dumbledore. They are both incredibly old and are both incredibly wise, and both died a hero's death as they both sacrificed themselves to save the main characters.
- Greystash was killed by Malicious Krubb, he was 94, unlike Dumbledore who was 115-116 when he was killed by Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Half-Bood Prince.
