Originally, they all thought Homer was great due to the character having the same name and they were led to believe that the character was based off the real Homer Simpson. But, from the second episode onwards, Homer became a laughing stock. The citizens of [[Springfield]] laughed at [[Homer]] as the character had the same name as him. Homer changed his name to Max Power because of the negative reaction towards him.

Homer Simpson is a character in the TV show Police Cops. He shares his name with Homer.
