Continuity[]
- In the flashback to Marge's baby shower, Luann Van Houten is also pregnant. Milhouse tells Bart that he is "only 3 months younger than you" in "Worst Episode Ever".
- Pedalon from "One Angry Lisa" reappears in this episode.
- One of the board games Homer is cleaning is Yahtzu, a parody of Yahtzee that previously appeared in the "War and Pieces" segment of "Treehouse of Horror XXI".
- There has been open fighting between Homer and Marge's sisters since Marge's baby shower for Bart. However, it is shown in past episodes that their hatred was much less overt with each other.
- In "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", Patty simply refused to talk to Homer when he answered the phone. When Marge gets on the phone, Patty tells her "Somehow I doubt that Homer's excited [for their visit]. Of all the men you could have married...".
- In "Krusty Gets Busted", Homer and the sisters only complain about each other after Homer leaves for the Kwik-E-Mart. When the newscast airs security camera footage from that night at the store, the sisters see Homer complaining to Apu about seeing the sisters' slideshow, calling them the "gruesome twosome". Patty and Selma tell Homer "So, the truth comes out..." while he fakes a smile.
Goofs[]
- During the season finale of "The Problem Is You," Kumiko's pink hoodie appears missing a bear on the front.
