Homi Bear is an incarnation of Homer Simpson dreamed by Homer himself. He is presented as the Hanna-Barbera character Yogi Bear but with some of Homer's features. He talks about stealing "pic-a-nic baskets" much as Yogi himself does, despite Bart-Bart's doubts. When Ranger Ned walks by, Homi begins violently mauling him. After waking up, Homer looks back fondly at this version of himself because he got to wear a shirt and tie without wearing pants.
