Synopsis[]
Marge needs new curtains for the kitchen, while Homer seeks a new kind of beer.
Full Story[]
As Homer obsesses over the idea of chocolate-flavored beer, Marge tells him that she needs new kitchen curtains. However, no one in Springfield sells her favored corn-cob design, and attempts to mail-order prove useless. She and Homer are forced to drive out to Ogdenville, where they stumble onto the local black market and find a giant roll of corn-cob cloth. It sells as-is, so Marge buys the whole thing.
With more fabric than she knows what to do with, Marge redecorates the whole house and everybody's clothing with corn-cobs. On the plus side, Homer has also bought a plentiful supply of chocolate-flavored beer.
