India (Hindi and Marathi: भारत; Urdu: ہندوستان; Bengali: ভারত; Punjabi: ਭਾਰਤ; Gujarati: ભારત; Kannada: ಭಾರತ; Tamil: இந்தியா; Telugu: భారతదేశం Bhāratadēśaṁ; Malayalam: ഇന്ത്യ), officially the Republic of India (Hindi: भारत गणराज्य; Urdu: جمہوریہ ہندوستان; Bengali: ভারতীয় প্রজাতন্ত্র; Punjabi: ਭਾਰਤ ਗਣਰਾਜ; Gujarati: ભારતીય ગણતંત્ર; Kannada: ಭಾರತ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯ; Tamil: இந்தியக் குடியரசு; Telugu: భారత గణతంత్ర రాజ్యము; Malayalam: ഭാരതമഹാരാജ്യം), is a country in South Asia and is the second-most populous country in the world, with a population of 1,324,000,000, and is where Kwik-E-Mart owner Apu was born.

History[]

The Kwik-E-Mart headquarters is located on the Himalayas and Apu and Homer travel there to get Apu's job back.[1]
