Inga-Bar Beerman's is a bar located in Sweden.

History[]

Bart once called this place using Denis Leary's cell phone with the intention of making a prank call. Specifically, he asked the bartender there if they had an "Olav Myfrensergei" at the location (a double entendre on "All of my friends are gay"). Afterwards, the bartender then proceeded to darkly tell Bart that, should they ever meet, he will personally thank the latter for showing him the futility of "human endeavor."

Trivia[]

  • The phone number for Inga-Bar Beerman's was "011468".
  • Although the other two bartenders were clearly irritated with Bart's prank calls to them, this is the only bar to have its bartender threaten Bart in response to the prank call onscreen.
  • It is also the only Bar where there are four customers in contrast to the other two where there are three customers while Bart calls.
  • The bar's name is a reference to famed Swedish film director Ingmar Bergman, and the bartender's reply to Bart ("I will thank you for showing me the futility of human endeavor") is a reference to Bergman's works often having dark themes such as death, bleakness and betrayal.
  • After a prank call at this tavern Bart says "The sun never sets on Bart-ish empire". This is a pun of saying "The sun never sets on British empire".
