Ireland (Irish: Éire), officially the Republic of Ireland, is a European island in the Atlantic Ocean, and next to Great Britain.

Allegedly, the Prime Minister of Ireland was a severe alcoholic, as a drunken Homer during a drinking fest at Moe's Tavern during St. Patrick's Day put a beer barrel over his head and proceeded after getting everyone's attention to claim he was the Prime Minister of Ireland, much to the amusement of the tavern patrons.[1]
Milhouse's transforms his toad into a Irish drunken, loutish man who hits on Mrs. Krabappel but Mrs. Krabappel rejects the man.[2]
When King Henry VIII divorces Catherine of Aragon he gives her Ireland.[3]
During a St. Patrick's Day parade the a riot when the Irish and northern Irish start fighting.[4]
The Simpsons once visited Ireland when Grampa told them he wanted to visit a pub he used to go, the O'Flanagan's Pub. While Homer and Grampa were at the pub, Marge, Bart, and Lisa visited the Blarney Castle, the Giant's Causeway and the Guinness Brewery. [5]
