Isabel Gutiérrez (full name Isabella Adolfo Guzmán Gutiérrez) is an eight year old character who appeared in the episode "The Kid is All Right".

Background

Isabel is Lisa's friend. She is from Argentina and is also Jewish. She first met Lisa in the school library. Things seemed to be going great between them, until Isabel revealed to Lisa that she is a Republican, during a presentation about Franklin Roosevelt.

Bart revealed that Isabel rides a bike with training wheels. She and Lisa eventually run against each other in the second grade election, which Isabel won.

• She has a darker skin complexion in the actual episode compared to her official image.
• Her mother says that people get more conservative as they age because every year they get further through Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.
• Despite being from Argentina she has more connections to Mexican culture and she's voiced by Eva Longoria who is Mexican.
