Ishmael was a student at the Springfield Elementary School. He and his brother Ezekiel were in the same class with Bart. They are now presumably taught at Springfield Christian School.
History
Before Edna Krabappel shows a sex education film to her class, she tells Ezekiel and Ishmael that they may step into the hall and pray for their souls, in accordance to their parents' wishes. They then leave the classroom and the film begins.
They were later seen in Bart's class at Springfield Christian School after he was expelled from Springfield Elementary.
