It's a Blunderful Life |
|
Trivia[]
- The plot of the episode is mostly similar to The Simpsons Movie.
Cultural References[]
- The title of this episode is a pun on the 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life.
- The song and dance number that Mr. Burns and some employees sing is based off of the song Henry Ford from the musical Ragtime.
Goofs[]
- This episode is titled It's a Blunderful Night on Hulu. However, this error didn't affect Google TV, and it has been fixed on Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube's streaming service.
- When Homer makes the house rock due to his weight, the basket is shown to have two holders, one of which is not attached to the wall. This was probably done to make the rocking animation easier.
- When we first see the shot of the Simpsons' house moved on a boulder, the boulder Flanders' house was on was nowhere in sight, so where did that 2nd boulder come from? It's made of rocks, so it's not like it grew right from the ground, and it's also not like they made the boulder itself, especially in an allotted time. The 2nd boulder was possibly moved next to the 1st one prior to Ned moving his house.
- Marge says that this is the family's first Thanksgiving with Maggie, but Maggie's first Thanksgiving actually happened in "Bart vs. Thanksgiving".
