Jay Scott Greenspan (born September 23, 1959), known by his stage name Jason Alexander, is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, and director who has had one role on The Simpsons.
Outside of The Simpsons, Jason Alexander is best known for his prominent role as George Costanza in the television series Seinfeld (1989-1998). Other well-known roles include Phillip Stuckey in Pretty Woman (1990), the title character in the animated series Duckman (1994-1997), and Zutho in The Legend of Tarzan (2001-2003). Jason Alexander has had a career on stage and in several broadway musicals including Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989, which made him won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He was also a director for a few musicals, a comedian for a few stand-up and improvisation shows, and competed on televised poker shows and in various poker tournaments.
On The Simpsons, Alexander has voiced Bourbon Verlander in "The Caper Chase".
