Squeaky Voiced Teen, also known as Jeremy Freedman, (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) is one of few teenagers on the show and is perpetually trapped in a series of dead-end jobs. He is also referred to as "Pimple-faced teen", "Pimple-faced kid", "Puberty Boy", "Geeky Teenager", and, on one occasion, "Old Man Peterson". The squeaky-voiced teen has acne vulgaris, and his voice is in the process of breaking.

Couch Gag Appearances

He appeared in the opening sequence of one episode, kissing an attractive blonde girl on the couch. In the introductory sequence of another episode, he appeared as a valet getting the Simpsons' couch for them.

Attempted Suicide and Romantic Life

In Fraudcast News he attempted to commit suicide because FOX cancelled Futurama. He falls of when he attempts to commit suicide, but he lands on a car where teens are making out and he crashes the boyfriend of the girl and then the Squeaky Voiced Teen and the girlfriend start making out and the attractive girl says I hope your good at making out.

Self Defense

In "Marge vs. Singles, Seniors, Childless Couples and Teens, and Gays", he lost his squeaky voice to "become a man," after Lindsey Naegle suggested that the adults "kill every child...friendly thing in town.

Real Name

" Seymour Skinner refers to the character as "Jeremy" in a deleted scene on The Complete Fifth Season DVD.

Conflicts

Amusingly, in "Bart of War", he was seen fighting the Wiseguy character (another character with a series of dead-end jobs).

DVD Boxset Appearances

He appears on the 10th season DVD box on both the front and side, as well as the plastic cover for the limited edition Bart Simpson head box.

Family

In the season 7 episode "Team Homer", it is implied that Lunchlady Doris is actually his mother, when he calls his mom and she replies "I have no son.

Surname

" His surname is also hinted in the episode "Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy" when Abraham Simpson quits his job at Krusty Burger; Abe refers to him as "Mr. Peterson". In "G.I. (Annoyed Grunt)", he is referred to as "Mr. Freedman" by Dolph. His surname is presumably Freedman, probably due to Grampa's inability to correctly identify a person, and because "G.I. (Annoyed Grunt)" is a more recent episode.
