When Chloe Talbot arrived to Mt. Springfield to make a news reportage about its eruption, Jet was there to help her. He said that he had filmed in Afghanistan, Serbia and Lebanon. However, when Mt. Springfield blew up, Jet admitted that he had just taken photos of weddings in Dallas, and then fled.
