Joe's Diner is a restaurant where Homer and Bart once stayed at when they were driving a truck to Atlanta. There is a section for truckers and Gwen works there as a waiter.

While Homer and Bart were driving a truck to Atlanta, after the truck's original driver, Red Barclay, had died from beef poisoning, they stopped at the Joe's Diner. Homer fell in love with Gwen, who was a waitress there, and decided to divorce with Marge, marry Gwen and stay in Joe's Diner, but he didn't.
