The John Kricfalusi couch gag is the first couch gag of season 23.
This couch gag is guest animated by John Kricfalusi, and this is the first couch gag to be guest animated by him. The second one animated by Kricfalusi is from Season 27's "Treehouse of Horror XXVI".
Plot[]
Homer makes Marge get him a beer, enjoying watching her get it in the process. During this, Bart places a "poopie cushion" under his father's backside. When Homer sits down, he makes a farting sound, causing him to get angry and strangle his son while he makes fun of him, resulting in Bart fainting and Homer's brain to pop out and fall in his beer. The couch gag finishes with Homer pouring the drink into the hole in his head as John Kricfalusi's signature is written on screen. The music from the couch gag continues over the opening credits.
