John Arthur Lithgow (born October 19, 1945) is an American actor, musician, comedian, poet, author and singer. He is best known for his television roles as Dick Solomon in the sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun and his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the Netflix historical drama TV series The Crown.
In The Simpsons, he voiced himself in the Season 30 episode "I'm Just a Girl Who Can't Say D'oh" and voices Gus in the Season 33 episode "Meat is Murder".
