Julia is Homer's female friend. She lives in the house behind the Simpsons' residence.
History[]
Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie were hired by Mr. Burns so he could have a virtual reality family, leaving Homer home alone. One night, he was laying down naked on the roof when he met Julia. They soon realize that they have lots of things in common, including (but not limited to): a love a beer, a love of food/eating, and a common dislike for Ned Flanders. The two become friends and start hanging out together.
When Marge gets back home, she finds out about their friendship and gets angry at Homer, thinking that the two are having an affair. When Julia arrives later on, she assures Marge that her relationship with Homer is strictly platonic.
Later on, while with her fiance (who works as a pilot), Julia admits that she saw HOmer naked on the roof of his house, which her fiance admits to seeing as well (while he was all the way up in his plane at that).
