Karl Ruprect Kroenen is a villain from the Hellboy franchise. He appears in the opening of Treehouse of Horror XXIV were he takes the place of Barney Gumble. After Bart crashes into the leaves Karl was under, Karl starts fighting Hellboy, portrayed by Groundskeeper Willie.
