Kermit is a frog from the Muppets. Jim Henson's most famous Muppet creation. Kermit was first introduced in 1955. He is the main character in many Muppet/Henson projects, most notably as host and star of The Muppet Show, very well known for various roles on Sesame Street, in commercials and in public service announcements over the years. He was in a film with Troy McClure called "The Muppets Go Medival". He was also seen in a TV program when Lurleen Lumpkin was singing "Bunk with Me Tonight" to him. He was then beaten up by Miss Piggy.
