Kevin Patrick Curran (February 27, 1957 — October 25, 2016) was a writer for The Simpsons who had actively written for the show from Season 14 to Season 29, though his first credit was for the season nine clip show episode, "All Singing, All Dancing."

Curran also wrote for Late Night with David Letterman and wrote for the live-action FOX sitcom Married...with Children (as well as provide the inner monologue voice for Buck the dog [though some episodes have Cheech Marin from the stoner comedian duo Cheech and Chong as the inner monologue voice of Buck the dog] and his later reincarnated form, Lucky. The episode "Psychic Avengers" also had an appearance by Curran as Buck's human self when Al, Kelly, Bud, and Peg get turned into monkeys due to a gypsy curse).

Kevin died on October 25, 2016 due to complications from cancer. The episode "There Will Be Buds" was dedicated to him.
