Marge's friend is a former student at Springfield High School who used to be Marge's friend when she attended the school.
History
She showed a feminist magazine to Marge who then attended a feminist rally and burnt a bra on the school grounds, causing she was sent to detention where she met Homer. Barney Gumble later asked the friend to be her cavalier but she declined.
