Kirk Douglas (December 9, 1916-February 5, 2020) was an American actor. He appeared as Chester Lampwick in the episode "The Day the Violence Died". In a long career, he appeared in numerous films. His most famous films include Champion (1949), The Glass Menagerie (1950), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), playing Vincent van Gogh in Lust for Life (1956), the title role Spartacus (1960) and The Man from Snowy River (1982).
Kirk Douglas was married to Diana Douglas(D. July 3 2015 aged 92) from 1943 until 1951 when they divorced. He was then married to Anne Buydens(B. April 23 1919 100 yrs old) In 1954 until his death she is an American philanthropist, producer, and occasional actress. Kirk is the father of Michael Douglas, American actor and producer.
