Kirk Douglas (born December 9, 1916) is an American actor. He appeared as Chester Lampwick in the episode "The Day the Violence Died". In a long career, he appeared in numerous films. His most famous films include Champion (1949), The Glass Menagerie (1950), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), playing Vincent van Gogh in Lust for Life (1956), the title role Spartacus (1960) and The Man from Snowy River (1982).
