Kumiko is a mangaka and a Japanese manga fan. She was first seen in an event in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. She also appears in "Married to the Blob" as the girlfriend of the Comic Book Guy.
She also appears as a free character in The Simpsons: Tapped Out, along with a quest line, to promote her debut episode.
