Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 – c. April 5, 1994) was an American singer, guitarist and songwriter of the band Nirvana.

His cousin, Marvin Cobain, loved Sadgasm's song Politically Incorrect and called to Kurt, who was looking for a new sound, and told him about the song.
