This is the last episode in which the 20th Century Fox Television logo has the News Corp byline.
Homer states that he has to work all day because "money doesn't grow on trees". Then the scene cuts to him playing cards and continuing his statement: "they grow on threes!". This pun translates seamlessly into the Danish dub and subtitles because the Danish words for "the trees" ("træerne") and "the threes" ("treerne") are homophones.
