- This article is about the TV host and guest voice actor. For the character, please see Larry King (character).
Larry King (November 19, 1933 - January 23, 2021) was an American TV and radio host. He appeared as himself in the episodes "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish" and "Sideshow Bob Roberts" making him the second guest star in the series to portray himself. From 1978, King was a national radio broadcaster; in 1985, he began hosting the CNN talk show Larry King Live, which ran for 25 years until it concluded December 16, 2010.
He interviewed Bart Simpson in a 1990 episode of Sunday Night with Larry King [1]. Bart tried convincing King to help with his homework on famous poets, but to no avail. This character interview is considered rare as it has not been included on any of the series' DVD sets.
A rerun of the episode "Sorry Not Sorry" was dedicated in his memory.
