- In the end Shelbyvillians drink turnip juice and it looks somewhat same that in Springfield (old man under/near the vegetable/fruit).
- If you look behind the boys when they enter Shelbyville, you can see two girls flying a kite at the boarder, which one of them is Lisa!
- After Bart labels Todd the "Quiet religious guy who ends up going crazy," Todd can be seen looking at the fourth wall nervously.
- When Marge finds out what the boys where up to, she hints Bart said he was going to a tutoring job instead.

- Data didn't have to look for a candy wrapper to know who took the lemon tree. Just the track it made alone is enough.
